Snorkeling all day in the crystal clear waters. Tiered of snorkeling? Relax on one of the boat decks, get a tan, read a book or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The Islands

The Similan Islands are 68 km from Khao Lak. The group of 9 granite islands offers the best snorkeling and diving spots in the world, with millions of colorful fish and interesting marine life.

Koh Bon or Bon Island is famous for it’s population of Manta Rays. The water is also crystal clear.

Koh Tachai or Tachai Island is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful islands in the Andaman Sea. Snow- white sandy beaches and unbelievably clear waters.

The Surin Islands are considered to be the best snorkeling spot in Thailand., with the shallow, clear waters and massive reefs.

Our Snorkel Liveaboard Tour

Below the itinerary of our 3 day/3 night snorkel liveaboard tour to Similan Islands, Bon Island, Tachai Island and Surin Islands.

The 3 day / 3 night snorkel liveaboard is all-inclusive. Food, fruits, water, soft drinks, professional snorkel gear (you can bring your own if you like), transfers from hotel to the pier and back. Alcoholic drinks like

beer are available on the boat but not included in the tour.

Itinerary

Day 1

We will pick up from your hotel around 18:00 and leave from Tablamu Pier around. 19:00, dinner will be on board.
Around. 00:00 – 01:00 will we arrive at Similan Island and moor for sleep.

The next day we will start with breakfast at 07:30 followed by our first snorkeling stop at at Island #5 and #6 for about 1 hour.
It’s just a short distance to Island #4 so our next stop is at “Honeymoon Bay” or “Princess Bay” for about 1 1/2 hour.
You will have time to swim, relax on the beach or explore the island.

Around 11:00 we will arrive at Island #7 at “East of Eden” for our 2nd snorkeling stop.
While you enjoy your time in the crystal clear water and marvel at corals and fishes our boat crew will prepare the lunch on the boat.
After lunch, around 13:30 we will stop on the east side of Island #8 at “Beacon Bay” for another hour of snorkeling.
Next, we will visit the “Donald Duck Bay”, where we will have 1 1/2 hours on the beach.
If you want you can climb up to the “Sail Rock” and enjoy an amazing view over Similan Islands.
Around 16:30 we will say good bye to Similan and head to Koh Bon. Here we will arrive at 18:00 and stop for snorkeling - hopefully with Mantas.
After that we will set off to Koh Tachai, on the way we will serve Dinner on board.
The night we spend right in front of this beautiful island.

Day 2

On the second day we will wake you up at 07:30 and serve breakfast on board.
Thereafter we will have our first snorkeling stop at Koh Tachai, if we are really lucky we maybe will see Walesharks.
Of course we will make a stop on the beach of this beautiful island as well before we head to Surin Island.
We will have lunch on the way. Arround. 13:30 we will arrive at “Pak Chak Bay”, where we will stop for 1 hrs snorkeling.
After that we will visit the “Sea Gypsy Village” (also know as “Moken”) – you can walk around, see how they live and learn something about their culture.
At 16:30 we arrive on our last stop for snorkeling for the day – “Turtle Bay”, where we hopefully can see Sea Turtles.
If you want you can go by dingy to the main island for some relaxing on the beach and swimming before we will have dinner onboard. We will moor there for sleep.

Day 3

At 07:30 we will wake you up the last time on this trip and at 08:00 we will serve our breakfast. The boat will arrive at 09:00 at “Torinya Island”, where we will stop for 1 hour snorkeling.
Around. 10:30 we will have our last snorkeling stop at “Mae Yai Bay – one of the best snorkeling spots in this world. 12:00 we will serve lunch and head back to Kuraburi.
We will arrive there ca 16:00 after 3 days full of snorkeling, beautiful beaches and a lot of fun.
The transfer back to Khao Lak will take approx. 1 1/2 hours.

Our boat made its maiden trip and it was fantastic ! Photos of the first tour in our photo gallery. Our snorkeling liveaboard boat is made of glass fiber, light and strong material. Also we have all the latest safety standards on board to ensure that your snorkeling liveaboard with Andaman Snorkel Discovery is safe.

Our tour schedule is as follow:
We go out every Sunday evening from Tab Lamu pier and return on Wednesday at the Kuraburi pier.
Then we leave on every Wednesday from Kuraburi and return on Saturday in Tab Lamu.
This schedule runs from 1st November 2011 til 1st May 2012.
All the trips have a minimum of 6 pax, please check availability before booking!
